So who will create her dress? No use without permission. More The daughter of Anna Wintour (editor-in-chief of American Vogue) is set to marry the son of Franca Sozzani (the late editor-in chief of Vogue Italia).Bee Shaffer and Francesco Carrozzini were first linked last autumn when Carrozzini- a director and photographer-was promoting the documentary Franca: Chaos and Creationwhich he had made about his mother, but the couplethought to have been together for some time before that. The news emerged in a photo posted to the Instagram Stories account of Shaffer’s best friend Selby Drummond, Vogue’s Accessories Director. The image shows Shaffer in a spotted dress changing from heels into trainers, with her left hand strategically in view to show off her sparkling ring. Shaffer isoften her mother’splus-one on the red carpet. For these high-octane events, Shaffer has turned to a smorgasbord of fashion’s most noted names in the past, from Chanel and Balenciaga to Gucci and Alexander McQueen-hardly surprising given her high-level connection. Alexander McQueen- the British design house which created the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding gown- is a strong contender for the commission. Creative director Sarah Burton’s designs for McQueen are intricately crafted with a suitably grand sense of occassion. Another Brit designer in the running is Erdem, whose pieces are similarly otherworldly and feminine but also offer the option of something less formal if the Shaffer-Carrozzini’s go for a less formal ceremony. Both these London-basednames would be an homage to Wintour’s English roots. View photos

Imagine if you had to fork out cash for your bridesmaid, in the same way you had to pay, say, a wedding planner, or someone else assisting you in the organisation of your perfect day. How much would you have to pay your bridesmaids? The answer is an absolute ton. According to a survey by online store SimplyBe , bridesmaids spend an average of 43 hours in total on wedding related duties. That includes things like going to wedding fairs (13 hours), planning the bachelorette party (10 hours), wedding dress fittings (8 hours), bridesmaid dress fittings (7 hours), hair and makeup trials (5 hours) and more. And thats not even including the wedding itself, with its early start and late finish. Definitely not a regulation working day. Based on the average cost of a wedding planner, who can earn up to $260 an hour, a bridesmaid could be paid $11,180 for their services. Even if you only paid your bridesmaid minimum wage, theyd still walk away with an extra $761 in their pocket. Which is enough to pay for the questionable cocktail dress you made them wear.

The official reasoning behind her stay in New York is to have her and Donald Trump’s 10-year-old son Barron finish the school year. It is unclear if Melania joined her husband at Mar-a-Lago this past weekend, as she has done in the past. Reactions among social media users were split. Some viewed the observations as an attack on President Trump by the media, while others dismissed them as “fake news.” “SO WHAT!!!!! I have been married 26 years and I don’t always wear mine,” wrote one commenter. “The constant assault on Trump is going old. He is our president, he is doing a great job, get off his back!” “Oh for the love of God, lay off Trump,” wrote another. “Bill Clinton wore a wedding ring but was busy having affairs for forty years. So very very glad I don’t live in the cuckoo state of California.” “It is not news at all; it’s just musings by the writer,” opined another commenter. “However, it isn’t fake, either.
